It has been a while since I last posted, which is mainly because we've been so busy owning everything inside of the Crusader Colloseum on both 10 as 25man, after my last post we have been pretty much 1-2 shotting everything up to Anub'arakwho suprisingly for the first time ever in the new instance required some proper execution.

With summer holiday getting past us and people getting back into raiding you should see us getting some new hardmodes done in Ulduar soon!

Tonight was a special night for the guild and especially for me. After obtaining the Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros  legendary nearly 4 years ago, we finally got luck on our side again and managed to get a legendary back in the guild.

A sad overvieuw from our luck in the past:

No fancy story this time I'm afraid as it would exceed the effort put into it compared to what the actual kill took.

Last night, after earlier visiting them on 10man, the mighty Protectorate killed the Northrend Beast encounter on 25man, and this on our second attempt ever!

Next week a new boss awaits, lets hope it will bring more challenge this time.

In our Epic struggle to breach the defenses of Ulduar, a huge challenge awaited us. The outer blockade of Dark Iron Dwarfs and the mad constructions of Mimiron stood before us. Steeling ourselves we took command of salvaged engines of war and took the battle to our foes. Massive monoliths of titan construction issued forth entire armies of Dark Iron Dwarfs that threatened to overwhelm us but our war machines reduced them to scrap metal. We then turned our attention to the titanic spider like creations of Mimiron and Dark Iron juggernauts, these massive brute assaulted us with a fury that no mindless machine could muster, a will ancient and malignant was at work here.

Our vehicles had taken heavy damage and yet a glimmer of hope remained, the goal was ahead of us the massive defense machine code named by Brann as the Flame Leviathan.

The metallic beast had many powerful defenses at its disposal, beams of pure ice that entombed our machines is thick frozen shell, blazing flame that could cover the entire battlefield in white hot fire, but more devastating where the powers to produce massive bolts of electrical energy over us and overload our war machines also seemingly from air it could create grotesque plant like creatures that stacked the odds against.

In order to tackle these threats we had no choice to board the flame leviathan and disable them, five brave members had themselves launched onto the machine and assault the systems in hope of shutting them down.

In the end Protectorate was victorious, in a shear stroke of luck one of our members shot down a canister of liquid pyrite that was in the care of transporter drone high above us, feeding this potent liquid into our own weapon systems we where able to coat the massive war machine in burning liquid fire, the Flame leviathan was left a disabled wreak in a pool of molten metal and circuits.
